What are your fondest/proudest musical memories?
I have many moments in my career that I am very proud of. 2 really amazing milestones in my musical career are the glorious moment I stood on the Carnegie Hall stage and performed my signature song "Llorando" a capella was one of the most amazing times in my life. I describe it as my voice on a ferris wheel. I sang out to the audience and it rolled up to the heavens and back around to fill me with joy and then out and up and back around again. It was so incredible. There I was, among the most amazing iconic artists of our time (Sting, Elton John, James Taylor, Patti Labelle, oh the list goes on) Wow! It was beautiful. But my fondest moment was when I performed the song I wrote for my beloved son Phillip "Before We Say Goodbye" while clad in purple feety pajamas in front of 40 of my closests friends for my 40th Birthday One Woman show. When he said "Momma, why do you have to write a song that makes me cry?" That was my fondest & proudest musical memory of all. Love & Light Rebekah 11:11
